Melting Point of Carbon Particles behind the Gas Detonation Front

A mathematical model of gas detonation fuel-enriched mixtures hydrocarbons with oxygen has been formulated, which makes it possible to numerically study the equilibrium flows products in presence free carbon condensation. Reference data for graphite were used describe thermodynamic properties condensate. The calculations are compared known results experimental studies which, when detonating an acetylene-oxygen mixture a pipe closed at one end, is obtain nanoscale particles from material special properties. It assumed that melting point such lower than and about 3100 K. Only adjustment temperature, best agreement (with accuracy 3 %) was obtained between calculated dependence front velocity on molar fraction acetylene mixture.
